Bikini care

Hey, beautiful!

We work hard to bring you high-quality, comfortable swimwear that you will love and feel great in! We feel it's a very important relationship to have with this small and cheeky friend. You might have noticed in your previous bikini relationships they tend to get stained, loose and discolored, and become less elastic with time. This is due to the use of not-so-great fabrics, chlorine and sun exposure or maybe your trusted friend reached the end of his lifespan.

We hope you and our bikinis will have a long, fabulous relationship filled with adventures. But for that, he will need your help to take care of him when he is not taking care of you. These next easy tips will prolong the life of your swimwear. Please check the label on your swimwear, where the care icons are displayed.

To start, hand wash your bikini in cold water right after you finished wearing it to remove salt, chlorine, sunscreen or oils off of it. You can use a mild soap, like the ones you use for your body. After that, leave it to drip dry away from direct sunlight.

If you must machine wash, do it on gentle and low temperatures. Do not use strong detergents or fabric softeners or bleaches, as that may damage the texture and colours of the fabric. Try to not leave it wet for a long period of time bundled up. It might get upset and mix its colours to get back at you (not a big chance of this happening but why risk it).

This sounds simple and it really is. Treat your bikini and body with love and respect and they will surely reciprocate. Please e-mail us at info@thenudistwear.com if you have more questions, we are happy to answer them!

With love,

The Nudist
